Our students are a part of something greater than themselves. We care about a well-rounded education and nurturing individuals. We are proud to be a tuition-free public and accredited charter school for grades 7 through 12.
The mission of Rockwell Charter School is to prepare students to be successful in their post secondary pursuits by:
creativity
collaboration
students to take responsibility for their own learning and future
Located in Eagle Mountain, Utah, Rockwell Charter School (RCS) is an accredited public charter school serving students in grades 7-12. Through our safe, supportive, and student-centered learning environment, Rockwell provides students with a post-secondary preparatory education. Along with CTE courses, concurrent enrollment, AP classes, credit recovery, and a robust Special Education department, Rockwell offers a variety of athletics, clubs, service organizations, and extra-curricular opportunities to enhance the educational experience of our students.
We believe students will rise to the occasion when provided high expectations and the resources necessary for achievement; and, we set appropriately high expectations to ensure student success in personal and academic pursuits. As a result, Rockwell’s graduation rate averages 97% year after year.
Opportunities to be challenged, supported, and guided toward a successful future including vocational licensure or a college degree is the goal for every student at Rockwell. Students are appropriately encouraged and challenged as they pursue interests and develop the skills necessary for life beyond high school.
At Rockwell, we live by the motto, “Everybody has a place.” Building meaningful and lasting relationships within our community is central to the success of our students, staff, and families. As we build relationships, a feeling of belonging permeates our school and promotes the success of every individual that walks through our doors.

By Mr. Dubois
My grandmother taught grades K-12 in the old schoolhouse out in Cedar Valley. You can tour the schoolhouse during a visit to Camp Floyd. This is a photo of that old school where Grandma taught.
My other grandma was the school secretary at American Fork High School for many years.
My father was a school psychologist and school counselor in Jordan School District. My mother taught the program for gifted and talented students in Alpine School District at Sego Lily Elementary in Lehi. Some students at Rockwell have even told me that my mom was their parent’s teacher!
My three older sisters and I followed my parents and grandparents into education careers. One sister works in special education, one is a district psychologist, and one is an elementary teacher and district coach for other teachers. I am the school principal in the family. Even my wife is a lunch lady right here at Rockwell!
Education is what the Dubois family does. One little quirk about me is that I am a little bit shy, so I love it when students and parents go out of their way to say hi to me and to get to know me. I live, eat, and breathe making Rockwell a better school every day!
