Rockwell Charter School is seeking a part-time (.5FTE) high school science teacher beginning in the 2026-27 school year. Compensation for this position is competitive and based on experience and education. The school will make every effort to consolidate the schedule for this part-time teacher so that courses are taught in adjacent periods or blocks of time.
Qualificaitons
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in science or science education and a valid state teaching license with a science endorsement. Experience in classroom management and communication skills is desired but not required. The school will also consider applicants with a strong educational background in science who would be willing to seek state licensure with the school's guidance.
The science teacher will be expected to teach Chemistry, Environmental Science, and other subjects as needed to high school students on site at Rockwell Charter School.
This position requires creating daily lessons, helping students learn lab skills and critical thinking, running safe, hands-on experiments in the classroom, grading tests, homework, and lab reports, and monitoring and reporting student progress to parents and school staff.

Rockwell Charter School is seeking a part-time (.5FTE) Licensed Clinical Social Worker beginning in the 2026-27 school year. The school will work with the LCSW to determine days and hours that enable the LCSW to provide support to students during the school day and also after school at the school's Teen Center. The school will make every effort to consolidate the schedule so that services are provided in adjacent periods or blocks of time.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have an active LCSW license from the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL).
An additional Professional Educator License with a School Social Worker area of concentration from the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) is preferred but not required.
Along with participation on the school's Safety Team, the LCSW will provide mental health therapy, behavioral interventions, and crisis support. The LCSW will also act as a bridge between students, families, school staff, and the larger community to support students' academic outcomes and social well-being.
The LCSW will also help students to develop skills related to conflict resolution, self-management, anger management, communication, emotional regulation, and related.
